Marshmellow Flowers

It's my Nieces 6th Birthday party tomorrow and I am making 12 white chocolate cupcakes and 12 lemon cupcakes. I'm having a bit of a time crisis so I'm doing lots of prep-work to get the fiddly bits out of the way prior to any baking.



Flowers are lovely to put on cupcakes, so cute and stunning (if done properly - I've seen some really ropey flowers!!), but they are quite expensive to buy compared to making you own.

So I went a'hunting for some flower designs and found this simple(ish) idea, created by Karen & Alan of Hello, Cupcake!: Irresistibly Playful Creations Anyone Can Make & What's New, Cupcake?: Ingeniously Simple Designs for Every Occasion

This is my first try at making them and here is the finished result.... I'll show you the completed cupcakes next week.
